Recognition for the 'We Don't Talk About Leonard' Podcast

This is a photo I took last month at the Ambies, the Oscars for podcasts (or so they say). “We Don’t Talk About Leonard,” the three-part podcast I worked on, was a finalist in the politics category. Alas, we didn’t win. (Grrr, NPR.) Still, it was heartening to get the recognition for WDTAL, as we like to call it.

The podcast was also a finalist for an Investigative Reporters and Editors award, and is a finalist for the American Bar Association’s Silver Gavel award. So gratifying to know that WDTAL resonated with the judges as well as with audiences. Here’s to hoping we snag one of these awards.
